I’m starting with Perfectionism today, and how setting unrealistic goals that you can’t meet can cause you to doubt yourself, and then lose faith in yourself, and combining that with a lack of self-compassion, can be a vicious cycle of disappointment. And while some of us used perfectionism to get ahead in our careers, over time, it’s a set up for failure and the fear of failure can stop you in your tracks.
