Alyssa Vaniman is currently an athletic trainer at Arizona Western College where she’s also an Adjunct Faculty in the department of Physical and Wellness Education. During the pandemic, she co-founded Latinx Athletic Trainers to help provide support and representation for Latinx ATs.
Alyssa is currently (while working full-time and co-founding Latinx Athletic Trainers!) going back to school to earn her Doctorate in Athletic Training (DAT) from Indiana State University. She has a Masters in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise science from California State University, Los Angeles. She earned her Bachelors in Athletic Training from Northern Michigan University and her Associates Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Citrus College.
