We know that blurred boundaries, particularly between work- and home-life, are linked to an unhealthier lifestyle and decreased happiness. And we know that poor boundaries can lead to resentment, anger, and burnout.
An interesting study on boundaries showed that having healthy boundaries leads employees to to feel empowered at work. And who doesn’t want that?!
So today I’m talking about what boundaries even are, why they’re important, the different types of boundaries, how to figure out your boundaries, and how to communicate your boundaries.
Hint: I will be talking about your self-worth and values because they play a huge role in setting effective boundaries!
