Celebrating the 100th Episode!
Ah!!
Somehow, we’ve reached the 100th episode of the Madam Athlete podcast!!!
Despite being an introvert, despite perfectionism slowing me down, and despite the fact that maybe somewhere less than 20% of podcasts survive their first year…
We made it!
So I’m celebrating this milestone.
But also… shit’s going down in the world right now. And especially for women’s rights in the US.
While this wasn’t my initial play for a 100th episode, I honestly felt I had to address what’s been going on and that it in fact tied in deeply to how I’m feeling about why I started my podcast and where I hope to grow it from here.
Inside This Episode
This episode is going to be real.
My honest thoughts, beliefs, values.
I’ll talk about what led me to start the podcast and where I want it to go in the future.
And I will be talking about women’s rights so let me just say up front so there is no confusion – women’s rights are human rights.
I’ll also check in on title IX, on what some past guests are up to now and share a call to action with you.
This might be the most blunt and real I’ve been on the podcast so far, and you’ll hear about that and why that makes me uncomfortable. But, like I’ll talk about, it’s important.
Oh, and I swear. Because I swear. So that will be happening too.
